Run tinc, a VPN daemon for connecting devices through a virtual private network.
tinc VPN
Connect computers over a virtual private network with tinc, an open-source VPN daemon.

About tinc VPN
tinc is a VPN daemon that uses tunnelling and encryption to connect hosts across the Internet. It appears to the system as a normal network device, so existing software does not need to be changed to use it.
It supports direct routing to the destination when possible, NAT traversal when at least one node accepts incoming connections on a public IP address, optional compression, bridging of ethernet segments, and IPv6 traffic and tunnels. It is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later.
Key features
- Encrypts and authenticates traffic using LibreSSL or OpenSSL
- Sends VPN traffic directly to destination when possible
- Allows NAT traversal when one node uses public IP
- Adds nodes by adding an extra configuration file
- Links ethernet segments to work as single segment
- Tunnels IPv6 traffic and builds tunnels over IPv6
- Licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later
- Appears as a normal network device, so existing software needs no changes
- Supports multiple operating systems and IPv6 for traffic and tunnels
