Algebird
Algebird provides abstract algebra tools for Scala, including components for building aggregations.

About Algebird
Algebird is an open-source Scala library providing abstract algebra tools such as Monoids, Groups, and Rings. It is targeted at building aggregation systems, originally developed as part of Scalding's Matrix API. The library models reductions like average, moving average, max/min, set union, and approximate set size or item counting as sums on iterators. These operations combine naturally in tuples, vectors, maps, options, and other standard Scala classes.
It includes Monoid implementations for approximation algorithms including Bloom filter, HyperLogLog, and CountMinSketch, allowing them to be added in Hadoop or online. The code is available on Maven Central under group com.twitter, version 0.13.5, and currently supports Scala 2.10, 2.11, and 2.12.
