Bunch
Bunch automates macOS tasks using plain-text files to launch applications, run scripts, and perform system actions.

About Bunch
Bunch is a Mac utility for switching between work contexts. It treats each plain-text .bunch file as a script and lists those files in a menu bar menu. Choosing one runs its lines, which can launch or quit apps and change system settings. Closing a Bunch can reverse changes, for example by restoring the wallpaper or showing Desktop icons.
Key features
- Menu bar menu lists Bunches from the Bunch Folder
- Can launch and quit apps, open files and websites, and send keystrokes
- Can adjust Dock visibility, desktop icons, audio device or volume, keyboard layout, dark mode, and Do Not Disturb
- Runs shell scripts, AppleScripts, and Automator workflows, and integrates with other automation apps
- Can be scheduled
- Can create a Bunch from the apps currently open
- Bunch files must use the .bunch extension; hidden extension settings can keep them out of the menu.
