About Chiaki

Chiaki is a free and open source client for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 Remote Play, available for Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Android, macOS, Windows and Nintendo Switch. It finds a console automatically when the console is on or in standby on the local network and discovery has not been disabled; otherwise the console can be added manually by IP address. Registering a console requires a PSN AccountID, obtained with an included Python 3 script that logs into PSN via OAuth, plus a registration PIN generated from the console's Remote Play settings. The project is in maintenance mode: all relevant features are considered implemented, no major updates are planned, and contributions are accepted only in special cases such as security issues. A more active community project, chiaki-ng, is referenced for users who want faster development. It is not endorsed or certified by Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC.

It is a Remote Play client for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
How do I register my console with Chiaki?
Put the console into registration mode (PS4: Settings -> Remote Play -> Add Device; PS5: Settings -> System -> Remote Play -> Link Device), then provide your PSN AccountID and the registration PIN.
How do I obtain my PSN AccountID?
Run the included Python 3 script scripts/psn-account-id.py in a terminal and follow its instructions; it obtains the AccountID from PSN after an OAuth login. Since PS4 7.0 this AccountID is used instead of the Online-ID for registration.
