DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Resolve is a video editing and post-production app for Windows, macOS and Linux, combining editing, color correction, visual effects and audio tools. A free version is available alongside paid Resolve Studio.

About DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Resolve combines video editing, color correction, visual effects and audio post-production in one desktop application for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its workspaces divide the jobs: Cut and Edit handle the timeline, Fusion covers effects and motion graphics, Color handles grading, and Fairlight provides audio tools. You can organize footage and export finished work in dedicated media and delivery pages.
The editing tools include multicam switching, synchronization from audio or timecode, customizable shortcuts and subtitle tracks. Keeping these tasks in the same project is useful when an edit needs more work on its sound or color after the first cut. Project libraries also support people working together locally or remotely, with Blackmagic Cloud available for hosted projects and media.
A free edition provides the main post-production workflow. Resolve Studio adds features such as advanced noise reduction, more effects and Neural Engine tools, along with broader high-resolution and high-frame-rate support. Compare those differences against your footage and intended export before buying Studio; the paid feature list is not the same as the free download.
