Harden Linux servers and deploy LAMP or LEMP stacks with JShielder’s security script.

About JShielder
JShielder is an open source Bash script for Linux servers. It automates server hardening and installation of packages needed to host web applications. The script follows CIS Benchmark guidance to establish a secure configuration.
You run the script as root with ./jshielder.sh. It can update the system, configure hostname and timezone, create an admin user, set up RSA keys, configure SSH and iptables, and install tools such as fail2ban, Rootkit Hunter, and auditd. It also deploys LAMP or LEMP stacks, including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, and PHP with ModSecurity and the OWASP Core Rule Set.
It lists support for Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS and 18.04 LTS, with CentOS 7 under development. It suits system administrators and developers who deploy web applications on Linux servers.
