About Karaoke Eternal

Karaoke Eternal is an open source karaoke party system that users host themselves. The server runs on hardware such as a Windows PC, a Mac, a Raspberry Pi, or a Synology NAS and serves the web app and the user's media files. Guests join a room with a QR code or a guest account, then find and queue songs from a mobile browser. The player runs fullscreen in a desktop browser on the machine that handles the room's audio and video. It plays MP3+G files (including zipped files), MP4 videos, and music-synced WebGL visualizations.

The player only outputs music, so no microphone is needed. Users can set up the audio as simply or as complexly as they like. Several rooms or queues can run at once, and each can be password-protected. The project states that it has no ads or telemetry. Support is available through the project's Discord server.
