About kixistats

kixistats is a Clojure/ClojureScript library for statistical distribution sampling and transducing functions. It includes distributions such as Bernoulli, Normal, Binomial and Poisson, statistical tests including Z-tests, t-tests and chi-squared test of categorical independence, and transducing summaries such as mean, median, variance, correlation and simple linear regression.

The functions in kixi.stats.core are used with transduce in Clojure projects and can be composed to calculate multiple statistics in one pass.

Key features

  • Distribution sampling including Bernoulli, Normal, Binomial and Poisson
  • One-sample and two-sample Z-tests for location
  • Simple t-test and Welch's unequal variances t-test
  • Chi-squared test of categorical independence
  • Transducing summaries for mean, median, variance and deviation
  • Correlation, covariance matrix, regression and R-squared measures
Best for: Clojure and ClojureScript developers who need distribution sampling and summary statistics in code.
Good for
  • Designed for use with transducers, allowing combined calculations in one pass
  • Includes sample and population variants for variance, deviation, skewness and kurtosis
  • Covers distributions, statistical tests and summary measures in one library

kixistats FAQ

How is kixistats installed?
It is installed into a Clojure project from its Clojars page or as a Git dependency using git/url and git/sha.
How are statistics calculated?
Functions in kixi.stats.core are used with transduce, for example passing mapped values through standard-deviation or correlation.
