Twitter Text Java
The Twitter Text Java library tokenizes and parses text according to platform text requirements.

About Twitter Text Java
Twitter Text Java is the Java implementation of the twitter-text parsing library. It tokenizes and parses text to meet platform text requirements, with methods and classes to calculate length and validity and to parse @mentions, #hashtags, URLs, and more.
It uses configuration files to define length rules, including v1.json for traditional 140-character parsing and v2.json for weighted Tweets where Unicode ranges have independent weights. The parseTweet method returns weighted length, permillage relative to the maximum, validity, and display text ranges; permillage over 1000 indicates text longer than the allowable maximum.
