About Language Map
LanguageMap is an interactive world map that shows where languages are spoken. Languages can be coloured by language family or by how endangered they are, which lets users compare patterns across regions and groups. The site also includes a daily guessing game called Language Guesser.
The map is still being filled in. As of the homepage, 828 of the 8,238 languages listed by Glottolog are on the map, and the site states that anyone can add a missing language.
