About Seanime

Seanime is a self-hosted media server for anime and manga. It scans local files and matches them with AniList, and can automatically fetch new episodes from configured sources based on rules. Episodes and movies can be streamed from torrents, Debrid services or online sources, while manga chapters are downloaded and read in a built-in reader with progress tracking. Other capabilities include watch parties, sharing a local library across instances, FFmpeg transcoding with hardware acceleration for browser playback, BitTorrent and Debrid client integration, playlists, release calendars, layout customization, and a JavaScript extension system. A Seanime Tenji client provides on-the-go access, with offline playback of downloaded media and syncing of local changes when back online. It is available as a Windows download and through a web browser. Seanime states that it does not provide, host, or distribute any media content; users are responsible for obtaining content through legal means and complying with local laws.
