Shairport Sync
Shairport Sync receives music streams over AirPlay and AirPlay 2, according to its project page.

About Shairport Sync
Shairport Sync is an AirPlay audio player for Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD. It plays audio streamed from Apple devices and from AirPlay sources such as OwnTone (formerly forked-daapd). It can be built as an AirPlay 2 player, with some limitations, or as a classic player for the original AirPlay (AirPlay 1) protocol, which the project describes as older but still supported.
When built for AirPlay 2, it can play stereo and multichannel audio (5.1 and 7.1), including lossless 24-bit stereo at 48,000 frames per second. It can also request and provide metadata such as artist information and cover art to other applications, through MQTT, an MPRIS-like interface and D-Bus. It does not support AirPlay video or photo streaming. Users updating from an earlier version should check the release notes for possible breaking changes.
