About Spot Transfer

Spot Transfer is a free, open-source tool for moving Spotify playlists to YouTube Music. The repository contains a self-hosted desktop client written in Python and a web frontend.

To use the desktop client, users copy YouTube Music request headers from browser developer tools and paste a Spotify playlist link to clone it. The request headers expire periodically; when that happens the tool pauses, saves progress in apps/desktop/transfer_progress.json, and can resume after fresh headers are pasted. Starting a transfer for a different playlist discards the previous saved progress. The project is described as a proof of concept using a private API and is provided as is without warranty.
