About Twitch-Live
Twitch-Live is an open-source browser extension that lists Twitch channels a user follows that are currently live. It shows title, category, viewer count and uptime, with search, sorting options, and links to open the stream, player, or chat.
It works on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers and requires sign-in with a Twitch account using read-only access to follows. The access token and cached stream list are stored in local browser storage, and logging out clears them.
Key features
- Lists followed channels that are live with title, category, viewers, and uptime
- Searches live follows by channel name, stream title, or category
- Sorts by broadcaster, category, viewers, recency, or running time
- Right-click menu opens channel, player, chat, videos, or clips
- Toolbar badge shows live channel count with background refresh
- Optional player extras add tab title, copy button, and chat popout
- Uses read-only Twitch OAuth scope and does not post to or change the account
- Keeps token and cached streams in local browser storage with no analytics or external server
- Remembers sort choice between sessions and allows view and refresh customization
- Requires signing in with a Twitch account to see live followed channels
- Shows only followed channels that are live, not broader Twitch browsing
- Designed for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers such as Brave, Edge, or Opera
