About UWPHook
UWPHook links Windows Store, UWP, and Xbox Game Pass games installed on a Windows PC to Steam by automating scripting and launching. Users load installed apps, select and rename entries, then export them to Steam so the current game appears in Steam status while playing. Since v2.8 it can also import grid, icon and hero images from SteamGridDB using an API key with image filters.
Stated limits include no Steam overlay support for UWP games, no compatibility with Steam Deck, and possible breakage without notice if Valve or Microsoft change APIs, file formats or scripts.
