ytclipper
ytclipper marks up YouTube or local videos in a browser and generates video clips.

About ytclipper
yt_clipper is an open source project on GitHub for marking up online videos and generating clips. It supports YouTube, WeVerse, Naver TV, and AfreecaTV, and can also mark up local videos through a hosted page at exwm.github.io/yt_clipper.
It works in two parts. A browser userscript adds a graphical interface to the video page for adding markers and adjusting settings with keyboard shortcuts. The marks are saved as small JSON files in plain text that can be read, edited, and shared. A separate clipper script then processes those files to generate clips, which are saved as webm files in an output folder.
The setup requires installing a userscript extension such as Tampermonkey, preferably in Chrome, then installing the markup and clipper components and following the quickstart guide. It suits people who are comfortable with GitHub repositories, manual installation, and script-based tools and who want a shareable way to define video clips.
