AutoSubSync MPV
Synchronize subtitles automatically for mpv with AutoSubSync MPV, which lists ffsubsync and alass as supported backends.

About AutoSubSync MPV
AutoSubSync MPV is an open source script for the mpv media player that synchronizes out-of-sync subtitles automatically. It runs external retiming tools, ffsubsync and alass, and is listed as supporting GNU/Linux and Windows. Users install the script into the mpv scripts folder and need mpv v0.33 or higher and FFmpeg.
The script can run without configuration if it works out of the box. Optional settings let users set paths to the executables, choose a preferred retiming tool, and control whether the original subtitle is unloaded or overwritten. Retiming can be slow: according to the author, ffsubsync can take about 20 to 30 seconds, and up to about 2 minutes with a very large file on a lower-end computer. Sync results also depend on the subtitle and the retiming tool, and the author notes that subtitles with extra text or made for a different version of the video may not sync properly.
