Database of Zeolite Structures
The Database of Zeolite Structures provides searchable structural information, descriptions, drawings, and animated displays for approved zeolite framework types.

About Database of Zeolite Structures
The Database of Zeolite Structures is a web resource from the Structure Commission of the International Zeolite Association (IZA-SC). It provides searchable structural information on all zeolite framework types approved by the IZA-SC, including descriptions, drawings, user-controlled animated displays, crystallographic data, simulated powder diffraction patterns for representative materials, references, model-building instructions, measured powder patterns from the "Verified Syntheses" books, MAS NMR spectra, and framework chemical composition. A separate integrated database under the Intergrowths tab covers disordered zeolite structures, and a check topology tool can test whether a structure has a new topology or list topological T-positions for known structures. The service runs on servers in Europe and North America; the Asian server is no longer working. The site reports security enhancements, HTTPS links, and Content Security Policy compliance, and it is functional on mobile devices.
Key features
- Searchable descriptions and drawings of IZA-approved zeolite framework types
- User-controlled animated displays of each framework type
- Crystallographic data and simulated powder diffraction patterns for representative materials
- 29Si and 31P MAS NMR spectra for selected zeolites and aluminophosphates
- Integrated Intergrowths database for disordered zeolite structures
- Check topology tool for new topology and topological T-positions
- Covers all zeolite framework types approved by IZA-SC
- Provides multiple structural data types, including drawings, animations, diffraction, and NMR spectra
- Includes an integrated database for disordered zeolite structures and a topology check tool
- Crystallographic data and simulated powder diffraction patterns are provided for representative materials, not all
- NMR spectra cover specific material classes: pure silica, aluminosilicate zeolites, and pure aluminophosphate zeolites
- The Asian server is no longer working; service relies on Europe and North America servers
