About dizqueTV

dizqueTV is an open source project that creates live TV-style channels from media on your Plex servers. You set up channels, programs, commercials and settings in a web interface. Channels are then made available through a simulated HDHomeRun tuner, which Plex, Jellyfin or Emby can read, or through a generated M3U URL, which any IPTV player app can use. It is a fork of the older pseudoTV project and includes a web TV guide and generated EPG data.

The project is intended for private use. The source states that it should not run where other users can reach its ports, and that exposing those ports should be left to advanced users. Using the spoofed HDHomeRun tuner in Plex requires a Plex Pass. Changes to Plex media are not detected automatically, so programs must be removed and re-added manually.
