MaterialYouNewTab is an open-source new-tab page inspired by Material You design. It provides integrated search with a choice of engines and voice typing, customizable themes, wallpapers, a clock, greeting, live weather, shortcuts, AI-tool links, a to-do list, bookmark sidebar, and Google Apps shortcuts, with backup, restore, and reset options.
It supports Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera, as well as Firefox-based browsers such as Firefox and Zen. Opera does not support replacing the default New Tab, so there it can only be used as a startup page.

How do I manually install it in a Chromium-based browser?
Extract the folder, open the extensions page such as chrome://extensions, turn on Developer Mode, then choose Load unpacked and select the folder.
Why doesn't it replace the New Tab page in Opera?
Opera does not support replacing the default New Tab; the documentation describes setting the extension page as a startup page instead.
