About Openmpt
This GitHub repository is a read-only git mirror of the OpenMPT and libopenmpt Subversion repository. OpenMPT is a free tracker for Windows (also run under Wine). libopenmpt is a library that renders tracker music, including MOD, XM, S3M, IT, MPTM and dozens of other legacy formats, to a PCM audio stream. The two projects are distributed under the BSD-3-Clause License and share the same playback quality and format support, with development happening in parallel.
The repository contains the source code and build files. OpenMPT is built with Visual Studio 2019 or 2022, and the build requires Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC). The host system requirements depend on the Visual Studio version. The mirror may be rebased without notice when commit messages in recent history are corrected, so users who clone or fork it should rebase often.
