About PixelPeeper
PixelPeeper is a simple web app for inspecting the camera settings and Lightroom edits stored in a photo's file. It reads embedded XMP and metadata to show details such as camera model, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and Lightroom adjustments. When a photo has no edit metadata, its Look Match feature offers machine-learning estimates, which are not recovered settings.

Does PixelPeeper keep uploaded local files?
Yes. Local files are uploaded to the server for processing, and the extracted metadata and file are stored there. They are not public unless you share the link.
Will a downloaded preset give the same look?
Not always. Presets may not match the original, include only the camera profile name, and leave looks out by default.
Can I use Preset Finder without preset packs?
It is meant for people who already have preset packs. You upload presets from your computer to use it.
