About ColorPilot

ColorPilot is the download page for Exif Pilot, a free metadata editor for Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11. It lets you view, create and edit EXIF, EXIF GPS, IPTC and XMP data in image files, remove tags or clean up all metadata, add new tags, edit some Makernote tags, and manage keywords.

The editor reads, edits and creates metadata in JPEG, TIFF, PNG, DNG, NEF, PEF, CR2, CRW, JP2, ORF, SRW, ARW, SR2 and PSD files. RAW formats such as MRW, RW2, PGF, EPS, Heic and RAF open in read-only mode. EXIF and IPTC data can be imported and exported through XML, MS Excel and CSV text files, and you can choose which tags to export.

A paid Batch Editing Plug-in (79.95 EUR) adds multiple photo processing, copying tag values between images, command-line editing and import or export to single or separate files. Processed files must be in the same directory. The program is provided as is, with no upgrades planned and no technical support.
