Simple MPV WebUI is a web-based interface with controls for the mpv media player. It runs as an mpv script and is accessed from a browser at 127.0.0.1:8080 or [::1]:8080 by default, listening on 0.0.0.0:8080 and [::0]:8080 unless changed.
It supports configuration of port, IPv4 and IPv6 listening, request and OSD logging, audio devices for cycling, a custom static directory for an alternative frontend, and exposed directories for the /api/collections file-browser. Authentication uses Basic Authentication with an htpasswd file, and /api/collections responses remain empty until directories are configured.
