Improved UI
uosc adds a proximity-based on-screen interface to the mpv media player.

About Improved UI
uosc is an open source on-screen interface for the mpv media player. It shows controls based on the position of the cursor, rather than on every mouse movement. The timeline can also shrink to a small progress bar when not in use.
With it you can use a configurable controls bar and a nested context menu, select audio, video and subtitle tracks, download subtitles from Open Subtitles, load external subtitle files, select stream quality, and browse directories and playlists. Menus can be searched by typing, the scroll wheel can seek or change volume and speed depending on cursor position, and chapters can appear as ranges on the timeline. It also supports thumbnails through thumbfast integration and provides an API for other scripts. It requires mpv 0.33 or higher and is installed with scripts for Windows and Linux/macOS or manually into the mpv config folder.
It suits mpv users who prefer mouse-driven controls and menus over keyboard-only operation and configuration files.
