Wormhole Crypto
wormhole-crypto provides streaming encryption for Wormhole.app using encrypted content encoding for HTTP.

About Wormhole Crypto
Wormhole Crypto is an open source JavaScript package that provides streaming encryption for Wormhole.app. It is based on Encrypted Content-Encoding for HTTP (RFC 8188) and is used by Wormhole.app to handle encrypted file data and room metadata.
You can install it with npm install wormhole-crypto and use the Keychain class in code. The Keychain creates or holds a 16-byte key and salt, encrypts WHATWG readable streams into encrypted streams, and decrypts them back to plaintext. It also handles authentication tokens and headers used to request data from the Wormhole server without revealing the main key.
It suits developers working with Wormhole.app or with encrypted HTTP streams, as documented in the API reference. Use of the repository requires JavaScript knowledge and familiarity with readable streams, keys, and base64-encoded values.
