Aegis
Aegis signs Nostr events through a simple cross-platform signer, allowing clients to request signing without handling private keys directly.

About Aegis
Aegis is an open-source Nostr signer that aims to be simple and cross-platform. Client apps can request event signing through it, so they do not need to handle private keys directly. It supports three connection methods: NIP-46 remote signing through bunker:// URIs or Nostr Connect URIs, NIP-55 signing on Android, and NIP-07 signing for web Nostr apps running in its in-app browser.
The NIP-55 method works only on Android, and the NIP-07 method works only inside Aegis's in-app browser. The source lists a local relay option for on-device communication, and it lists several planned changes, including a Rust logic layer, local relay maintenance features, WebXDC support, and MLS signer support. These are described as future plans, not current functions. Building from source requires the Flutter SDK, Rust, and platform tooling such as Xcode, CocoaPods, or Android Studio. The project is licensed under LGPL-3.0. The source does not state pricing or any privacy or security guarantees.
