About APID

APID (Agile Protein Interactomes DataServer) is a database of protein interactomes for more than 400 organisms. It combines experimentally validated physical protein-protein interactions from primary databases (BIND, BioGRID, DIP, HPRD, IntAct, MINT) and from 3D structures in the PDB. The site reports 90,379 distinct proteins and 678,441 interactions in total. Users can search for one protein, a list of proteins, or a publication, then build and explore interaction networks or download an interactome as a tabulated text file.

The site reports quality levels and proteome coverage for each organism. Users can filter interactions by minimum numbers of experimental evidences and publications. The network viewer requires Firefox or Chrome to work properly. APID Interactomes is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Pricing is unknown.
