Blossom specifies HTTP endpoints for storing blobs on media servers using Nostr public and private keys for identity.
blisk
Blisk stores Blossom blobs in a local indexed database designed for deduplicated storage.

About blisk
Blisk is an open source Go library for storing Blossom blobs in a local database on disk. Blob files are kept in a directory structure that is sharded by the first three characters of each blob's hash, and metadata is kept in SQLite. The library is installed with go get and provides Go functions to save, load, inspect, list, and delete blobs for a given uploader, such as a Nostr public key.
Identical uploads are stored only once. A blob is removed from disk only after every uploader that referenced it has deleted it. The README states that the store is safe for use by multiple goroutines within a single program, but that writes from multiple programs are not safe and are highly discouraged.
Key features
- Stores blob files on disk with metadata kept in SQLite
- Deduplicates repeated uploads so each identical blob is stored once
- Removes a blob from disk only after all uploaders delete it
- Shards blob files into directories by the first three hash characters
- Tracks blobs by uploader, such as a Nostr public key
- Provides Go functions to save, load, inspect, list, and delete blobs
- Deduplication reduces storage use when the same blob is uploaded more than once
- Saving or deleting the same blob repeatedly has no extra effect when done by the same uploader
- Released under the MIT license as open source
- Writes from multiple programs are not safe and are highly discouraged
