Brezn is a Nostr progressive web app that shows posts by location, using geohashes to reduce location precision.
Brezn
Brezn shows local-area Nostr posts while reducing the user's position to a shortened geohash.

About Brezn
Brezn is an open-source Nostr client that shows posts from the user's local area. It reduces the user's position to a five-character geohash (roughly 5 × 5 km cells, depending on latitude) and shares only that cell, never exact coordinates. Feed radius is set by adjusting the geohash query length, where each length loads that cell and its eight neighboring cells in a single query. Because it is a client for the existing Nostr protocol rather than its own network, the same keys and relays show the same content in other Nostr apps. It can be installed as a Progressive Web App on Android and iOS, or via an Android APK. The developer states they do not host published content, operate relays, or process personal data; traffic goes directly to the relays and media hosts the user chooses, which can see the user's IP address.
