Goaccess
Analyze web server logs in real time with GoAccess, an interactive viewer for terminals or browsers.

About Goaccess
GoAccess is an open source web log analyzer and interactive viewer. It runs in a terminal on *nix systems or in a browser. It parses web server logs in real time and shows HTTP statistics in the terminal or on a live HTML dashboard.
It is designed for system administrators, DevOps engineers, and security professionals who need to monitor traffic, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot server issues. The terminal viewer is limited to *nix systems. Some TLS reporting appears only when the log format includes the relevant fields.
Key features
- Panels and metrics refresh every 200 ms in the terminal and every second in HTML output
- Predefined parsing for Apache, Nginx, Amazon S3, Elastic Load Balancing, and CloudFront logs
- Tracks the time taken to serve each request to find slow pages
- Incremental log processing with on-disk persistence options
- ASN mapping to spot suspicious traffic and exclude whole networks with --exclude-asn
- Keeps AI crawler and Fediverse traffic separate from search engine crawlers
- Requires only ncurses as a dependency, as it is written in C
- Minimal configuration: point it at an access log file and choose the log format
- Open source
- The terminal viewer runs only on *nix systems
- TLS settings are reported only when the log format includes %K, %k, and %g
