KPix
Create pixel art with KPix, a pixel-art creation tool hosted on GitHub.

About KPix
KPix is an open-source, multi-platform pixel art editor for still images and animations, developed as a Flutter application and distributed through its GitHub repository. It focuses on indexed color and generative color ramps: a palette is built from independent ramps whose shades are controlled by parameters such as base hue, saturation, hue and saturation shifts, minimum and maximum brightness. Drawing tools include pen, shape, text, fill, stamp, line/Bézier curve and spray can, and each tool can work directly with the selected color or in shading mode, where canvas colors are brightened or darkened along the current ramp. Projects use the app's own kpix file format and can export lossless images with transparency, including integer scaling. Export for other applications covers layers to Aseprite, Pixelorama, Gimp and Photoshop, where special layers are omitted (reference, grid) or merged (shading, dither). Animations support individual frame times of 1-30 fps per frame, onion skinning and linked layers. KPix is not distributed through Google Play or the Apple App Store.
