NSXIV
The nsxiv project provides a read-only image viewer derived from the Neo Simple X Image Viewer.

About NSXIV
nsxiv is a free, open source image viewer for X11, licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. It is a fork of sxiv, which is no longer maintained, and is intended to be a mostly drop-in replacement that keeps sxiv's interface while adding simple features. It can zoom, pan, and rotate images, show basic animated and multi-frame images, and display a thumbnail grid. Building it requires X11 and Imlib2 1.11 or later with X11 support. The GitHub repository is a read-only mirror, and bug reports are filed on Codeberg.
