spotify-adblock
spotify-adblock blocks requests to listed ad URLs in the Linux Spotify client.

About spotify-adblock
spotify-adblock is a Linux tool that blocks advertising in the Spotify desktop client by wrapping cef_urlrequest_create and blocking requests to URLs on a denylist. It is built from source and installed system-wide, then used by launching Spotify with the LD_PRELOAD environment variable pointing at the built shared library.
The allowlist and denylist are configured in a config.toml file, normally at /etc/spotify-adblock/config.toml, which a user-specific version can override. It does not work with the Snap Spotify package, and it may not work with the Flatpak package depending on the versions of the system's shared libraries; the Debian Spotify package is described as recommended.
