Tideflow
Turn Markdown into PDF with Tideflow, a desktop app described by its project as offline, portable, and powered by Typst.

About Tideflow
Tideflow is an open-source desktop app that converts Markdown into PDF documents. The user writes Markdown in an editor and sees a PDF preview that updates as the text changes. The PDF is produced by Typst, which is bundled with the app. Once installed, the app runs without a network connection and does not require a web service or a LaTeX toolchain. It supports academic writing with BibTeX and Hayagriva bibliography files, Pandoc-style citations in six citation styles, and LaTeX math through MiTeX. It also offers 12 themes, an automatic table of contents, and an optional configurable cover page.
The project describes its scope as a practical, lightweight path from Markdown to a print-ready PDF. It does not aim to replace advanced publishing systems. Pre-built installers are listed for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Building from source requires Node.js 18 or later, Rust, and the Tauri CLI.
