videoduplicatefinder
Video Duplicate Finder searches collections for duplicate videos, with a cross-platform project listed in its repository.

About videoduplicatefinder
Video Duplicate Finder scans hard disks for video and image files that are similar, including copies with different resolution, frame rate, or watermarks. It provides a desktop GUI for Windows, Linux and macOS, a headless CLI, a web UI, and a Docker image, with optional native ffmpeg calls and pHash scanning.
Partial clip detection and AI matching are optional passes that must be enabled in Settings. Audio-based clip detection requires audio in both files and skips silent videos, while the local AI pass looks for transformed copies and silent or re-dubbed clips.
