About AppGroup
AppGroup is an open-source Windows tool for organizing apps into groups launched from the taskbar. Users create groups, add apps by drag and drop, nest subgroups, and pin groups to the taskbar or desktop. It works with .lnk shortcuts, Steam .url files, and UWP and PWA apps via shortcuts, with settings for icons, layouts, labels, headers, and light or dark mode.
UWP apps require manual shortcut creation through shell:AppsFolder. It is distributed as Setup and Portable variants, with Bundled versions that include .NET 8.
