About Kaset
Kaset is an open-source native macOS client for YouTube Music and YouTube, built with Swift and SwiftUI. It presents music and video in a single window with a source toggle, covering playback, library browsing, search, podcasts, queue management, lyrics and an equalizer, plus regular YouTube recommendations, subscriptions, Shorts, comments and picture-in-picture. It requires macOS 15.4 or later and a Google account for personalization; Apple Intelligence features need macOS 26.0 or later. The app is not signed or notarized by Apple, so the first launch requires approving it manually through System Settings or Terminal.
