About Libre Sprite
LibreSprite is a free and open-source program for creating and animating sprites and pixel art. It composes sprites from layers and frames and includes real-time animation previews, onion skinning, tiled drawing mode, and pixel-precise tools.
It originated as a fork of the last GPLv2 commit of Aseprite and is developed independently. Releases are provided for Linux, macOS, Windows and Android under the GNU General Public License Version 2.
