The European Climate Assessment and Dataset project presents information on weather and climate extremes and daily data used to analyze them.
PRISM Climate Data
PRISM provides weather datasets such as daily precipitation, temperature, drought indicators, and solar irradiance.

About PRISM Climate Data
PRISM Climate Data is a free spatial climate dataset resource produced by the PRISM Group at Oregon State University. It aggregates weather observations from multiple monitoring networks, applies quality control and mapping methods, and delivers datasets covering variables including daily precipitation, temperature, drought indicators, solar irradiance, and the 2023 USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. Datasets span the contiguous United States from 1895 to the present, with options for 4km and 800m spatial resolutions and daily (1981–present), monthly, or annual temporal granularity. Users can access bulk gridded downloads, fetch time series for single grid cells, view anomaly maps, or use the Data Explorer to retrieve data for up to 500 point locations per request.
