About Yubioath Flutter
Yubico Authenticator is a companion app for managing a YubiKey hardware security key. It displays YubiKey details such as serial number, firmware version and supported capabilities, and it can show OATH one-time passwords stored on the key. The project describes it as available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. The source code is licensed under Apache-2.0 and hosted on GitHub.
The app requires a compatible USB or NFC-enabled YubiKey. On Linux, the pcscd service must be installed and running to communicate with the key over the SmartCard interface, and user permissions may need to be set for HID access. On some Wayland configurations, copying a one-time password to the clipboard from the system tray icon may not work reliably. The project lists some platform versions as supported and others as best-effort, meaning full functionality cannot be guaranteed on those.
