Stratum Auth is an Android and Wear OS two-factor authentication client supporting TOTP and HOTP codes, encrypted backups, and account categories.

About app
Stratum is a free, open-source two-factor authentication client for Android, distributed with a companion app for Wear OS. It generates TOTP (time-based) and HOTP (counter-based) codes using SHA1, SHA256 or SHA512, and also supports Mobile-OTP (mOTP), Steam and Yandex accounts. Authenticators can be given brand icons, renamed, sorted into categories and arranged in any order.
Backups are encrypted and can be saved to cloud storage or to the device, so accounts remain reachable after losing or changing a phone. The app states it requires a single permission — camera access for adding accounts via QR codes — and does not need Internet access to function. It is currently available only through the F-Droid client via the IzzyOnDroid repository, which must be added first, and APK authenticity can be checked by comparing certificate signatures.
