About ProtonUp-Qt

ProtonUp-Qt is a graphical application for installing and managing game compatibility tools: GE-Proton, Luxtorpeda and others for Steam, and Wine-GE and others for Lutris. It is based on AUNaseef's ProtonUp, written in Python 3 with Qt 6, and released under the GPL-3.0 license. It is an independent project and states it is not directly affiliated with the creators of those compatibility tools or with the providers of the game launchers.

The tool is distributed as a Flatpak on Flathub, as a portable AppImage in the GitHub releases section, and through AUR (Arch, Manjaro, EndeavourOS and similar) and Pacstall packages. Integrity of the AUR and Pacstall distributions is checked only on an irregular basis. It draws on services including AreWeAntiCheatYet and ProtonDB, and translations are managed through Weblate.
