About Network Survey
Network Survey is an open-source Android app for logging and analyzing cellular networks, Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, and GNSS constellations. It records signal strength, network information, and device data, and can save logs to GeoPackage or CSV files for offline analysis or stream data live via MQTT or gRPC.
The app also logs Call Detail Records for phone interactions with the cellular network. The regular Google Play version does not log SMS or MMS events or the other phone number for calls, and neither version logs RCS chats. The Play Store version sends crash logs and analytics to Firebase.

Network Survey FAQ
Does the regular version include SMS and MMS in CDR logs?
No. Due to Google Play policy on SMS permissions, SMS and MMS logging requires the version built from source, the "*cdr-release.apk" from GitHub Releases, or the IzzyOnDroid version.
Can Network Survey log RCS chats?
No. Neither version logs RCS chats because Android only lets the default messaging app see RCS messages.
How can I avoid Firebase crash logs and analytics?
Use the CDR build variant by building from source, installing the CDR APK from the Releases page, or installing from IzzyOnDroid.
