About tomboy-ng
tomboy-ng is a note-taking app that works on Linux, Windows, and macOS and synchronises notes between them. It supports rich text markup, printing, spell check, backup and snapshot capability, undo and redo, automatic linking between notes, search, and NoteBooks. It imports and exports plain text, RFT, and Markdown, and can sync to a private GitHub repository for access from a browser.
It is available from Debian repositories for Debian Bullseye and derivatives, with install kits for other Linux systems, Windows, and macOS, and can also be built from source. A separate TomboyTools utility imports or exports individual notes, Notebooks, or directories.
