Unison
Unison synchronizes files, according to the project title and its file synchronization documentation.

About Unison
Unison is a file-synchronization tool for POSIX-compliant systems and Windows. It maintains two replicas of files and directories on different hosts or on different disks on the same host, allows each replica to be modified separately, then propagates changes to bring them up to date, propagating non-conflicting updates automatically and displaying conflicting updates.
The project distributes Unison as source code, with binary packages provided by packaging systems and test continuous-integration builds available for a limited set of platforms. Earlier releases are no longer maintained, and maintenance is handled by a very small team, which affects handling of bug and enhancement reports.
