About Drawio

draw.io is a JavaScript, client-side editor for general diagramming and whiteboarding, jointly owned and developed by draw.io Ltd (previously JGraph) and draw.io AG. The source code lives in this repository under the Apache License 2.0, and the project also runs a production deployment at app.diagrams.net.

The editor can be self-hosted by forking the repository and publishing to GitHub Pages (without integrations), or run through the official Docker image, a desktop download, or packaged .war files from the releases page. Supported browsers are Chrome 123+, Firefox 120+, Safari 17.5+, Opera 109+, Edge 123+, WebView Android 137+ and Safari iOS 18.5+. It is not an SVG editor — SVG export is meant for embedding in web pages rather than editing in other tools — and this version does not support real-time collaborative editing. No copyright claim is made on diagrams created with the software.
